How do I get started?
Add a daily medication or health routine, choose a buddy, and set your reminder times. When you take a dose or complete a routine, log it on Today. History lets you look back at your recorded activity.
Why didn’t I receive a reminder?
Check that reminders are enabled in Buddies and that notifications are allowed for Buddies in your iPhone settings. Review your Focus and notification-delivery settings, then open Buddies again. Device settings and iOS can delay or suppress notifications; keep a separate reminder for medically important or time-sensitive doses.
What does ‘Not logged’ mean?
It means Buddies has no recorded check-in for that dose or routine. It does not mean you definitely missed it. Buddies records what you log; it cannot verify whether you took a medication.
Do I need an account? Is my data synced?
No account is needed. Your routines and history are stored on your device, with no Buddies cloud sync. Device backups may include app data, depending on your settings. We cannot retrieve your locally stored records for you.
What happens when I remove a routine?
Removing a routine archives it so it no longer appears in your active routines. Its past history is preserved. Removing a routine is not the same as erasing all app data.
Can you help with a medication or missed-dose question?
Our support team can help with the app, but cannot provide medical or dosing advice. Contact your pharmacist or healthcare professional for medication questions and follow their instructions. Buddies is not an emergency service.
